The Dachshund & Pink the Pig- Click to see the pictures

This Dachshund is fostering this little guy for another mom who couldn’t take care of him.
He had his eyes closed, but now they are open.
He is just a little bigger than her other pups.

She loves this little guy as much as the other puppies and she is nursing him back to health.

He is the cleanest pig-puppy ever because she licks him all the time.

HIS NAME IS PINK….

lol several of the remarks many people post are a bit spacey, normally i question whether they truly read the content pages and threads before writing a comment or whether or not they merely read over the titles and compose the very first thought that comes to mind. at any rate, it is relaxing to browse through clever commentary now and then in contrast to the identical, traditional blog vomit which i regularly observe on the internet i’m off to take up a few rounds of zynga poker have a pleasant day

I googled “Pink the Pig” and found that the family that was raising him kept him and one of his puppy sisters. He is a much smaller pig than his (original) siblings, and the family that had him had the original pigs as well as the dachshund. So Pink and his puppy sis are living in a barn, apparently very happy.

This is such a heart-warming story! It is a stark reminder of the difference in fate between dogs and pigs – I’d really like to know what will happen to Pink when he grows too old to be a cute family pet. I have an awful feeling this lovely story will end as it does for all pigs – with Pink going to the dinner table. What is the latest on Pink? Will he stay as a pet for the course of his life?
