Cloning Your Pet

Would you clone your beloved deceased pet?

One women wants to do just that.  She misses him so much,  she can’t think about adopting a new one, and she’s willing to pay $150.000 or so. In an interview with a cloning specialist he made clear that the appearance could be the same as her beloved pooch, but the character is definitely in doubt. In addition, he mentioned all the dogs and cats that are in shelters waiting to be adopted, not to mention how many of them will be put to death because they couldn’t find a loving home.

Why not keep the good memories and open yourself and your heart to another sweet 4 legged who is craving to be part of a loving family.

Another point for thinking, how many stray dogs and cats can be saved and  feed with $150,000.

And think about it……

Help Feed Neglected Animal – it is Only a Click Away.

A friend told me about this wonderful site and the great job they are doing for abandoned and neglected animals.
I am sure you’ll be surprised how little you need to do, to make some pooch or kitty get their food. Not need to mention the feeling that only one click can feed six poor animals.
The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.
It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on “feed an animal in need” for free. This doesn’t cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.
Here’s the web site! Click on this link, and when the site opens, click on the purple box that says Feed an Animal for free. That’s it! Pass it along to people you know. And don’t forget to go there and click. The address is http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com

If You Love Your Pet – Register It!!

The most important thing to do after you get your pooch (or kitty) is to take them to the vat for checkup, get the vaccinations and talk to them about implanting chip with your address and other necessary information about your dog. Don’t forget to register the pet with the authority and get the tag to be attached to the collar.
It all sounds like to much effort but ….read what happened to dog owner in NY.
They had their pooch for 7 years. One day the cute tiny dog was playing in the yard, the other minute he was gone. They looked for him all over the neighborhood, hanged flayers with his picture, promises $100 reward for the one who’ll bring the dog home. Nothing.
After a while they find out that their dog was found and was taken to a shelter, the law says in NY that the shelter needs to wait 5 days before giving the stray dog for adoption. they did wait 7 days and then a new family adopted him.
Now the first owner can do nothing. Because there was no identification of any kind on the dog, he was treated as a stray dog.
Can you imagine the heartbreak it caused????
You maybe saying your dog is at home all day, he never runs away, or my cat is indoor cat. Well, so was this dog for seven years, and then in one second they lost him for good.
It only takes a vat visit to keep your pet with you ………and think about it.

Cat Talk – A Little history of Cats

No one know exactly when cat become domesticated, but there is a believe that it was in the 1600 B.C. Ancient Egyptians were the first to domesticate cats. They regarded cats as embodiments of the goddess. On the pyramid walls and other findings of the Egyptians artwork, we see the cat. The cats were buried in tombs with their masters.
Sailors, despite the Egyptian prohibition, smuggled cats to other countries. The people found the cats useful as hunters, especially against rats. Good solution to prevent disease like the Black- Plague in Europe at 11th century.
During the years, people moved from one place to another, accompanied with their cats and
contributed to the expansion all over the world.
Even though the cats are domesticated for so long, they did not lost their hunting instincts and independence. Ask any cat owner and he’ll tell you, that when his cat is awake he is very sensitive to any unusual noise, that he is chasing flies, mice, birds etc. When the owner call his cat name, sometime he’ll come and sometime he becomes totally deaf…

Two Lazy Cats

It is so hot, that you can just die. My prince and princess, thrown on the floor, looking like rugs with eyes.

If I could, I would do the same thing, but we humans, we have the chores of life. Snow, rain, sun, we run around, doing our daily things.

As you know, we need to take care of our pets, same as we do with our children, or any other human beings. With temperature climbing over 90 F they should stay at home with the A/C and have clean water so they can drink any time they feel like.

The problem with these two lazy cats, they don’t move.

I look at my 4 legged and wonder, what runs in their minds. They probably think that I’ll bring the water to them.

Well…they’re wrong, big time. Would you bring the water to your lazy cat???
